Abstract/Description

Many quantitative watershed models require an accurate estimate of impervious surface coverage to be effective. This report compares several different methods of determining impervious surface cover. Specifically, a technique using sattelite imagery and one using aerial photography are checked against ground-truthed data. The study site is in northern Virginia.
