The Ogunquit River is a significant natural resource in Southern Maine. It provides great economic and recreational benefits to surrounding communities, but action must be taken in order to ensure protection of the river and to address current water quality concerns. Twenty-four management actions for the protection and restoration of the Ogunquit River are outlined in this plan, which includes a report on a 2003 shoreline survey cataloguing nonpoint source pollution within 250 feet of the banks of the river and its tributaries. 71 pages.
