Abstract/Description
This study assesses the spatial distribution and abundance of the signature plant species for the low, high, and upland transition zones of the New England high marsh ecosystem as well the increasingly abundant invasive species, Phragmites australis and Typha angustifolia.  It also examines the relationship between plant community members, upland land use, and gradients in marsh elevation and groundwater salinity.
