Chapter in the book Fish habitat: essential fish habitat and rehabilitation published  by the American Fisheries  Society. This chapter provides the first density estimates of fish found in vegetated salt marsh habitats in the GOM, and concludes that salt marsh restoration is a more effective method of increasing fish habitat than marsh creation.
